Welcome to Bickleigh-on-Exe Pre-school

We are delighted to be able to offer our facilities to all children between 2 and 5 years of age. Our ethos is to create a friendly and safe environment for young children to grow in confidence and discover the pleasure of learning through play.

Situated in the picturesque village of Bickleigh we are in the heart of rural Mid Devon, between the market town of Tiverton and the historic city of Exeter, and very much at the heart of our community.

Bickleigh Pre-school is located in a fantastic new purpose built building, called The Bridge (opened September 2010) at Bickleigh-on-Exe Primary School.  This move has helped to strengthen the link between the primary school and the Pre-school, creating a smooth transition for the children into the Primary School.

The Pre-school is delighted to have the use of a large bright and airy classroom, with direct access to its own covered outside play area.  There is a large variety of toys and equipment for the children to play with, both inside and outside.

The Pre-school also benefits from the use of the primary school’s playground, the schools environmental area and the Orchard, a large green field site next to the primary school, which is owned by Bickleigh Village.
